
Amber Boswell
Amber (she/they) began her competitive dance career at the age of 7. She has trained extensively in tap, jazz, contemporary and ballet.
Throughout her competitive career, she has received top awards and scholarships across North America, including the Tap Icon award at Showbiz, Tap standout scholarship at Jump dance convention, Contemporary Faculty Pick at ASH Dance Convention and Eastern Canada Tap Conference scholarship, to name a few. They were also accepted to Team Canada’s tap team. She has had the privilege to train with some of North America’s leading tap instructors, including Everett Smith, Travis Knights, Jason Janas, Christie Mckay-Hofland, and Julianna Kelly, among others. While not competing, they have trained and performed with Everett Smith’s Bringing Tap Back pre-professional performance company and went on to assist as well as teach dance to both recreational and competitive students ages 5-17 across Nova Scotia.
Teaching the younger generation is a true passion of Amber’s and to be able to work with and build relationships with students eager to dance and learn is something she sincerely looks forward to every day.
